Based on the brief reference to Jesus as "Lion of Judah" in Revelation 5:5, this service explores the imagery of lions, and with echoes of how Aslan transformed Narnia in "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". Using the further imagery of black-and white contrasting with colour, it goes on to show how Jesus transforms human experience and hope. The Service is suitable for "Christ the King" Sunday, and other occasions that focus on the Lordship of Christ, and his transforming power.
