Ascension is described as "Christmas in reverse". The key words "outward" "return" and "destination" are used to describe familiar journeys, and then applied to the life of Jesus, his coming to live on earth as a baby in Bethlehem, and his return to heaven at his ascension. Jesus has both a heavenly and an earthly crown, and both of these are used in this service.
