In this service we thank God for the rhythm and patterns of the seasons, seed-time and harvest, and all that is within the natural cycle of life. Although written for Rogation-tide, it can also be used on many other occasions because it also recognises spiritual cycles of repentance and forgiveness etc. All such cycles are represented by wheels that spin. They do not spin for ever in one place, but move forward as symbols of our journey with and to God.
