Christingle is a very popular Christmas Service, which can take place any time between Advent and Candlemass. It tends to draw large numbers of people, but presents the challenge of how the same message can be presented differently each year.
This Service uses the idea of the segments of the orange and the red band, to symbolise both the brokenness of the world, and also God's offer of wholeness in Christ. Instructions are included for making a large "orange" with segments.
