Lost and Found

This service is very simple to present. It is not dependent upon a lot of visual material and it does not require a lot of people to take part. It is based upon our human experiences of being lost and of losing things. These experiences are linked to the Biblical teaching of Jesus when he was at the synagogue, aged 12, and in the parables of the Lost Coin, Lost Sheep and Lost Son.

The service brings us to a point of looking at our own tendency to stray from the guidance and direction of Jesus. There is opportunity for repentance and acknowledging the joy of sin forgiven and a new start with Jesus, the Good Shepherd and the Friend of sinners.
